I’m a data engineer and developer based in Roanoke, Virginia. I’m finishing a CS degree at Radford University with a database concentration, and I’ve completed graduate coursework in data engineering and cloud database architecture. I hold the AWS Cloud Practitioner and AI Practitioner certifications and the Oracle Certified Foundations Associate in Java, and I’m preparing for the AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate exam.

I’ve spent the last few years as an independent developer and consultant, most recently as technical consultant to a Salem, Virginia software company (2025–2026), where I designed and shipped two production applications. Most of my work falls into three areas: moving data reliably, from orchestrated pipelines in Airflow and Docker to serverless designs on AWS; putting AI to work in real applications, from comparing sentiment models on Reddit data to building on image-generation APIs; and presenting results clearly. My design background carries into that last part: the charts, interfaces, and graphics are part of the work, not an afterthought.
