A dashboard comparing data engineering jobs around Roanoke with Virginia and the US: remote vs. hybrid vs. on-site, median pay, the skills postings name, and the experience they ask for.

Most of the work was cleaning: location matching that pulled in Roanoke, Texas; two remote fields that didn’t always agree; one posting belonging to several slices (handled with a bridge table, not by deleting rows); and keeping “unknown” visible instead of guessing. The repo’s README lists each decision.

Headline finding: of Virginia data engineering postings that state an arrangement, about 23% are remote, against 43% nationally.
